When meeting with a prospective buyer do not let them out of your sight while touring your home.  In the end these are strangers at first and you do not want them snooping around without your permission.  Also when showing your home to prospective buyers do not be the only person there.  Have a friend or spouse there to help you answer any questions.
  1. If you are uncomfortable with the paperwork associated with selling your home, consult your lender.  They will walk you through the steps. 
  1. Stay Positive!!  It will take time to sell your home so staying positive and patient is key.  Plain and simple this is a buyers market so don’t be discouraged by lowball offers or the amount of time it is taking to sell your home.  You would encounter this if you were listing with an agent anyway so take it in stride.
